The Association of eSports and Digital Sports is established with the vocation of favoring and promoting the implementation, standardization, protection and use of digital technologies, with special attention to those applied to sports and entertainment, in Spain and in an international framework. As contemplated in its founding statutes, the association is created as a non-profit entity to promote activities related to eSports and sport in digital spaces, contribute to their regulation and development in the private and public spheres and establish itself as a platform open to dialogue and to all sectors of society to channel healthy, responsible and appropriate habits, uses and lifestyles in the digital framework at a time of indisputable emergence linked to the rapid development of technology and rapid transformation of our society.

In order to unequivocally position its role, the Association of eSports and Digital Sports promotes, as the first public action, the preparation and issuance of a Basic Manifesto, in which the guidelines set for its future development are emphasized. A declaration of intent and a clear statement of the philosophy that inspires its constitution.
